In the role of Civil/Structural Digital Design Specialist, we'll count on you to work for Civil/Structural discipline with minimal direction from the Engineer or other technical professional. You will be responsible for the Civil/Structural model and generate the 3D design elements based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scope. Your tasks will include creating and maintaining the Civil/Structural and multi-disciplinary model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output. You should be skilled with the software used to produce the designs identified in the Digital Delivery requirements and have mastered Civil Site and Structural design disciplines and how they interact with other design disciplines. An advanced understanding of engineering/construction documentation and plan presentation for Civil/Structural disciplines, along with a general knowledge of other disciplines, is essential. You will also mentor and develop the Digital Design staff within the Civil/Structural discipline, accurately model 3D elements in the correct spatial constraints of the modeling environment, and prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams of the design within the project scope, schedule, and budget. Additionally, you will maintain the discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, matchlines, views, and sheets, produce discipline-specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output, and monitor, improve, and maintain company standards and model health. Coordination with other discipline models through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes is also part of your responsibilities.
