About The Position
Top ENR firm is looking to add a motivated Civil Site Engineer to their Indianapolis office! This is a hybrid position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- 5+ years of Civil Site Design experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license for State of Indiana
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineer (PE) license for State of Kentucky preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop engineering designs for site plans (grading plans, utility layouts, stormwater management plans, and roadway geometry)
- Prepare construction documents, plans, specifications, and engineering calculations
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare site assessments/conceptual layouts
- Provide timely cost estimates/quotes
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for site drainage and stormwater design
- Evaluate site data to provide design decisions
- Ensure design compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, zoning codes, environmental regulations, and permit requirements
- Work closely with other team members
- Coordinate with permitting agencies to obtain approvals and resolve technical issues
- Provide technical support during construction
- Maintain accurate project documentation
- Contribute to design standards and process improvements
- Ensure adherence to company and industry design standards
