Were looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Civil/Site Development Group in Austin, Texas. This team provides site design and construction documents for a wide variety of commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential developmentsincluding mixed-use, office, retail, multi- and single-family residential, warehouse/distribution, medical, and recreational facilities. What Youll Do As a Civil Engineer, youll: Assist in the design and preparation of site engineering plans including site layouts, grading, storm drainage, water, utility, street and sanitary sewer design, and erosion control. Support coordination with project teams, utility providers, contractors, and permitting authorities. Perform design tasks under the direction of senior engineers. Prepare construction drawings and permit submittals. Assist with the collection and analysis of field data. Prepare and maintain technical reports.

Requirements

  • BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • 05 years of experience; prior internships in land/site development are a plus.
  • Ability to work on fast-paced projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and on a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
