About The Position

Civil Project Manager: The Civil Project Manager possesses the ability to manage multiple jobs concurrently. Monitor day-to-day activities, maintain documentation, update schedules, and review costs with the project superintendent. Solicit and qualify vendor/subcontractor proposals. I possess up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes. Knowledge of permitting, review, and inspection processes with jurisdictional authority where projects are located. Review subcontractor and supplier quote comparisons with the estimator to finalize scopes and pricing to generate purchase orders and subcontracts. Prepare, review, distribute, and track submittals for items to be manufactured or provided. Manage profit/loss of projects through weekly/monthly cost reviews. Management of awarded projects, including but not limited to: See that all safety practices are followed throughout the project duration, create and update project schedules, assist with or create monthly billings, review job cost costs, work with field personnel to build the project, manage/price change orders, and oversee subcontractors and vendors. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and effectively communicate with field personnel and owners/customers to help ensure complete customer satisfaction. Ability to professionally represent and negotiate with owners, architects, and developers. Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, estimating, and other project -related software. Maintain oversight and inspection of the Site Safety Program. Perform material take-offs and issue purchase orders. Review, approve, and code vendor invoices. Set up and manage field reporting. Work with Management as needed to obtain Allied Contractor Approvals Must have a valid Ohio driver license. Pre-employment and random drug testing are required by all Allied Employees. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
