About The Position

As a Civil Project Manager, you will manage waste management and diversion projects, coordinating with clients, regulators, contractors, and team members. You will be responsible for preparing budgets, schedules, invoices, and project deliverables, mentoring and assigning tasks to team members, and ensuring deadlines are met. Building and maintaining strong client relationships is crucial, as is communicating project updates and addressing client concerns. You will collaborate with regulators to ensure project compliance and lead staff for professional growth, reviewing and approving their work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Geological, or Biological Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years in engineering or environmental consulting, with a focus on waste diversion, landfill design, permitting, or sustainable materials management.
  • P.E. registration or ability to obtain within one year is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Technical proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform fieldwork as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in solid waste and landfill gas management.
  • Ability to mentor and lead a team effectively.
