We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Civil with a strong background delivering municipal and/or state-funded infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a proven project manager who can lead complex civil projects from planning through delivery, while managing clients, budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum of 8 years of relevant civil engineering experience
At least 2 years of prior experience serving as a Project Manager
Demonstrated experience delivering municipal and/or state-funded infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of public-sector project delivery processes, permitting, and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
Experience working directly with DOTs, counties, municipalities, or state agencies
Familiarity with alternative delivery methods (e.g., design-build, CMAR)
Experience supporting business development or proposal efforts

Responsibilities

Serve as Project Manager for municipal and/or state civil infrastructure projects, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Lead project delivery for transportation, roadway, drainage, utilities, water/wastewater, or similar public-sector projects
Act as the primary point of contact for municipal, county, and state agency clients
Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, designers, and subconsultants
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and change management
Ensure compliance with applicable state, municipal, and regulatory requirements
Support proposal development, scope development, and fee negotiations
Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development and best practices
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company standards, client expectations, and contractual obligations
