About The Position
Froelich Engineers Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our growing civil engineering department in Portland, Oregon. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an engineer who is eager to advance their career within a small and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a positive and professional attitude, demonstrating a high level of integrity and motivation. We are looking for someone with experience in site development and stormwater management design, who is capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while ensuring client satisfaction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the role involves building relationships with clients and collaborating closely with architects, team members, and contractors. The Civil Project Engineer will be involved in projects from the design phase through to construction completion. Responsibilities include preparing, compiling, and submitting drawing packages and reports, as well as supporting the civil department's growth by developing design standards and procedures. Our civil engineering department, established in 2015, has built a diverse portfolio of commercial projects throughout Oregon and Washington, working with top architects and developers in the area. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be willing to engage in a variety of tasks, working closely with the head of the department to assist with project management, document production, and client relations.
