About The Position

Galloway & Company, Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Manager to guide complex civil engineering projects from concept through completion. This client-facing position blends hands-on project management, cross-discipline coordination, and relationship building within a collaborative environment. The role involves preparing site designs and engineering documents, supporting project permitting, and working closely with internal teams and external clients. Responsibilities include applying civil engineering principles to various tasks, managing concurrent projects, and contributing to business development by nurturing client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering from a board-approved, four-year engineering curriculum.
• Minimum of 4 years of civil engineering experience required.
• At least 2 years of land development experience is highly preferred.
• Possession of a PE license or eligibility to take the PE exam within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Applying civil engineering principles to site layout, grading, stormwater, water and sewer, erosion control, and roadway/fueling design.
• Assisting in technical writing for civil reports, letters, and permit documents.
• Drafting construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• Preparing improvement plans, specifications, and permit applications.
• Performing and reviewing calculations for drainage systems, water/wastewater, transportation, and site earthwork quantities.
• Recognizing discrepancies in data and resolving them through detailed, step-by-step processes.
• Managing multiple projects with awareness of schedule, budget, and client expectations.
• Playing an active role in business development and client engagement.
