We are currently looking to add a Civil Project Engineer to our Site Development Services team located in Indianapolis area. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined environment, using their knowledge, skills and abilities to help our utility clients maintain, expand, or add to their infrastructure. They will be working in a team environment where they can either assist the Project Managers, mentor other team members, with possibility of leading project teams. The ideal candidate will have the following qualities: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering 4-5 years of relevant engineering experience P.E. license preferred, Indiana Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3-D, hydraulic modeling software (HydroCAD or similar), preferred Knowledge of regulations associated with the various cities, towns, plan commissions, county, state, and federal authorities Good verbal and written communications skills required.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • P.E. license preferred, Indiana

Responsibilities

  • Perform and provide design, management and technical direction and oversight associated with civil components on site design projects.
  • Deliverables typically include Civil/Site Development, Construction Plans and Specifications and certification of documents.
  • Produce and review technical reports and letters for jurisdictional and agency review.
  • The candidate will assist in maintaining budget, schedule, and quality of Tasks and being up to speed on regulation changes and agency protocols and requirements.
  • The candidate will assist in development of proposals, scopes of work, man-hour estimates and work plans for engineering portions of work pursuits.
  • Assist as a contact for the client and review agencies concerning the engineering aspects of the project as well as attending client and review agencies meetings.
