About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Structural/Civil Intern to join our team in New York. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North America's most significant projects. Your key responsibilities will be to: Create innovative plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates. Solve complex engineering challenges with creative solutions. Develop technical specifications, engineering reports, and project documents. Collaborate with professionals and departments to gather project information. Conduct site inspections and take on various responsibilities as needed. Requirements

  • Hold a master's degree in Structural Engineering or higher and either be a registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or be willing to obtain an EIT and subsequently a PE, with 0 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Actively participate in professional associations and be able and willing to learn
  • Have good attention to detail along with good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Possess quality planning and organizational skills combined with the ability to work in time-sensitive settings on multiple deadlines
  • Be familiar with various structural analysis software programs together with being proficient with the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
