Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Attention to detail
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture

Nice To Haves

• Previous AE internship experience is preferred
• Preference is given to local candidates
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a design team on multiple projects serving clients such as NYCDEP, NYCDDC, NYC Dept. of Parks & Recreation, MTA-New York City Transit, NYCDOT, PANYNJ and NYSDOT
• Preparation of plans, detail drawing/calculation checks, and estimate and quantity take-offs for projects of various sizes and complexities
• Perform engineering assignments with a high level of professionalism
• Perform other duties as needed
