About The Position
Civil Heavy Machine Operators Needed! United Trades of America is hiring skilled Dozer and Excavator Operators for civil/site work projects in Baton Rouge, LA. We need experienced professionals with a strong background in GPS equipment, civil grading, and pipe work. Pay: $25 - $27/hour Responsibilities : Operate excavators, dozers, and other heavy machinery proficiently. Perform pipe work for water, sewer, and drainage systems, including large-diameter pipes and box culverts. Execute blue-top grading, base stabilization, and maintain depth between hubs. Conduct daily equipment checks (fluid levels, etc.) upon arrival and departure.
Requirements
- Proficiency with GPS equipment.
- Extensive experience in civil/site grading and pipe work.
- Ability to install box culverts and large-diameter drainage systems.
- Must NOT be forklift-only operators.
- PPE provided (returnable/reimbursable upon exit).
- Steel-toe boots required.
- Tattoos acceptable (excluding gang-related or racial imagery).
