About The Position

The Line out Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily duties for the crew and ensuring that work is completed efficiently. The Foreman will receive primary direction from the Superintendent and must possess proficient skills and knowledge in maintenance, turnaround, or construction environments. This role requires the ability to supervise foremen in executing daily work assignments while maintaining a thorough understanding of Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures. Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this position.

Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) years or more in refinery maintenance/turnaround/construction experience.
• Good understanding of craft work being supervised and knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Must be able to pass the Craft Skills Test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft.
• Possess knowledge and a good understanding of Matrix policies and procedures.
• Complete Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, and Client/Site specific training.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within the required drug testing program.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Work well with the superintendent and client.
• Maintain daily contact with the client.
• Maintain Safety Accountability Procedures.
• Ensure a high quality of work is maintained.
• Conduct meetings and participate in all safety meetings for the crews.
• Demonstrate good supervisory skills for managing crews.
• Ensure Foreman complete Craft Employee Evaluations.
• Promote a strong Safety culture within the supervised crews.
• Identify safety hazards and take necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
• Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.
