Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in estimating for heavy highway/heavy civil construction projects.
• Expertise in roadwork, DOT, site work, mass grading, and underground construction.
• Familiarity with HCSS heavy bid or Bid2Win software.
• Knowledge of alternative delivery methods.

Nice To Haves

• Experience estimating for self-performed civil construction projects such as earthwork, underground utilities, or concrete structures.
• Experience estimating heavy civil projects valued at $50M and above.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the cost of a broad range of civil construction projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and create detailed estimates.
• Produce proposals based on accurate cost analysis.
• Collaborate with the Chief Estimator and Project Manager.
• Analyze requests for proposals and review bid instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
• Work with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing for bid estimates.
