Requirements
- BS or MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Geology
- 0 - 3 years of environmental site assessment and remediation experience
- Knowledge and understanding of state and federal environmental regulations and guidelines.
- A strong desire to work as part of a team that is committed to protecting the health and safety of project participants.
- A self-starter with a positive attitude and good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability and strong desire to work in the field and in the office.
- Ability to wear proper PPE for work on hazardous waste sites; lifting up to 25lbs and physical work will be required.
- Must be able to work in the field in all types of field conditions/weather.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental site assessment and remediation projects.
- Prepare subcontractor scopes of work
- Co-ordinate the schedules and activities of project sub-contractors.
- Perform assessment activities while being mindful of the policies and procedures to protect worker health and safety.
- Perform environmental soil and groundwater sampling in accordance with company, client, and industry standards.
- Maintain comprehensive field notes.
- Prepare draft work plans and remedial action completion reports for review by senior staff.
- Prepare environmental site assessment reports.
