About The Position
TRC is currently seeking a Civil or Environmental Engineer with solid waste/landfill/waste-to-energy experience to join our Northern New England Engineering, Construction, and Remediation Team. The position involves engineering design, team support, and task management on a variety of waste resources engineering projects, with a particular focus on solid waste engineering topics including landfill design, landfill gas systems, landfill leachate systems, construction planning and oversight, landfill closure, landfill operations, landfill post closure design and care, transfer station design, waste-to-energy (WTE) design, materials recovery facility (MRF) design, and recycling centers. Additional responsibilities include site planning, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, drainage design, grading plans, landfill permitting, stormwater design, leachate system design, management, and treatment, landfill gas collection and control system design, facility siting, design, and construction management for various waste facilities, landfill capacity analysis, facility/landfill financial assurance, odor assessment and mitigation, solid waste facility operations, construction management and quality assurance, and design of landfill-based renewable energy systems.
