About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License in at least one jurisdiction; ability to obtain licensure in others is required.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 6 years of design experience.
• Ability to write clear reports expressing engineering opinions and conclusions supported by facts and sound engineering principles.
• Testifying experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Active representation in industry organizations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in emergency response stabilization and repairs.
• Experience in field investigations and engineering assessments.
• Familiarity with code analysis and design/construction defects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams to meet project delivery objectives including scope, schedule, budget, and quality management.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide technical direction to junior engineering staff.
• Build and maintain client relationships and lead business development efforts for departmental growth.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, managing project teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project completion.
• Conduct general presentations within the industry and community.
• Support business development activities such as conferences and events.
