About The Position

Bowman Consulting Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Team Lead in Waco, TX, to provide engineering and design services while leading a team of engineers. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
• Ten or more years of engineering or related land development experience.
• Minimum of four years of Texas work experience.
• Experience with water/wastewater systems and water treatment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D.

• Proven track record of innovation and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and production team through the planning and design of civil engineering projects.
• Manage people and processes to ensure effective execution of projects.
• Review work produced by staff for quality assurance.
• Assist with marketing the firm's capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing clients.
• Execute project contracts and develop internal staff.
• Mentor and direct junior staff, coordinating with project managers.
• Prepare new contract proposals and attend project meetings.
• Provide technical assistance in the resolution of design problems.
• Act as the technical specialist for advanced concepts in civil engineering.
