About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Summer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the engineering and land surveying field, contribute to meaningful projects, and collaborate with experienced professionals. You will support our team on various tasks, including design, analysis, and project documentation. Location :1635 W 13 th Ave. Denver CO, 80204 (Onsite) Duration : 8–12 weeks (Summer) Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Completed coursework in structural analysis, transportation, geotechnical engineering, water resources, hydrology and hydraulics, construction management, and other related civil engineering disciplines.
  • Strong technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience is a plus).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and independently as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Nice To Haves

  • Civil 3D experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of engineering plans, reports, and specifications.
  • Conduct fieldwork, including site inspections and surveys.
  • Perform calculations, analyses, and modeling under the supervision of licensed engineers.
  • Review and interpret civil engineering drawings and project documents.
  • Support project management efforts, including documentation and tracking.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing updates and insights on assigned tasks.
  • Research and recommend solutions to technical challenges as needed.
  • Adhere to company safety standards during field and office activities.
