Wendel is looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly motivated future Civil Engineer to Intern for the Summer working directly with our Civil Engineering team out of our Williamsville, NY office. Our internship program provides hands-on practical experience for students while potentially developing the individual to take on a full-time role with Wendel post-graduation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at an accredited institution.
• Excellent PC skills.
• Microsoft Office software experience required.
• Strong desire to learn and grow within Civil Engineering.
• Ability to work on-site and travel if needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil 3D a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to help prepare and coordinate proposal efforts.
• Assist with research, report preparation, design, permitting, and specification/plan preparation for assigned projects.
• Conduct field inspections and data acquisition.
• Research and learn zoning ordinances.
