Requirements

• Interest in civil or environmental engineering.
• Pursuing a major in civil or environmental engineering in higher education is highly preferred.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable record.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Measuring and calculating construction quantities to assist in grading projects.
• Ensuring that water distribution systems and sanitary sewer systems are built to the highest quality standards.
• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Performing project inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Preparing accurate records, reports, and project files.
• Aiding in design, plan preparation, and quantity estimating for roadway improvements and storm sewer systems.
