About The Position

The Civil Engineering Internship in Water for Summer 2025 offers college students the opportunity to work in a team environment on infrastructure projects related to water and wastewater treatment. Interns will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of civil engineering, including design, calculations, and project documentation, while contributing to sustainable solutions for water management.

Requirements

• In progress toward earning a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Understanding of basic AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations, policies, and programs is a plus.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to planning, design, construction, and water/wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Engineers and Designers in preparation of calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications for bid and construction.
• Preparing and editing drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Completing other engineering and administrative duties as required.
