About The Position

At Columbia Engineering and Services, Inc., we take a down to earth approach to business and empower our employees to help the communities we serve to thrive. We have opportunities with the following teams: Transportation/Traffic, Municipal - Water/Wastewater, Site Civil Development. Our Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study. As a valuable addition to our team, you will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate with partners to produce our clients' visions for the future built environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Self-motivated; sense of urgency to produce high quality work
• Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic
• Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines
• Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Passion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
