About The Position

Walter P Moore is seeking high-achieving civil engineering students from leading universities who are passionate about shaping the built environment through innovative site development solutions. Our internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to impactful projects across commercial and institutional sectors. As a Civil Engineering Intern, you’ll be an integral part of our project teams, collaborating on the design and development of a variety of civil/land/site development projects. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to real-world challenges, including site layout and grading, stormwater management, utility design, and sustainable infrastructure planning. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our industry-leading, in-house staff development program, work on diverse, high-impact projects, be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment, and gain exposure to cutting-edge tools and technologies. Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 40 college hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering, with at least 24 hours in engineering, physics, or math related courses
• Strong technical foundation in civil engineering
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Enthusiasm for designing innovative and sustainable site development projects
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation (preferred but not required)
• Written recommendation from a civil engineering professor
