About The Position
The Village of Mount Prospect has an opening for a Civil Engineering Intern in the Engineering Division of the Public Department. Work involves construction layout and inspection associated with the street improvement program. This job opportunity will provide the successful applicant with invaluable “hands-on” experience in preparation for a civil engineering career.
Requirements
- High school diploma and currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program of study in civil engineering or related construction field.
- Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- construction layout and inspection associated with the street improvement and sidewalk improvement programs
- inspection of private development construction
- AutoCAD drafting for Village improvement projects
