About The Position

The Civil Engineering Intern will assist with engineering work related to roadway, grading, drainage, utility, erosion control, paving, cost estimating, feasibility, residential, industrial, municipal and site development projects.

Requirements

• Ability to work take direction and work independently or with a team
• Efficient use of time to complete tasks accurately, meet deadlines and within budget
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation software
• Microsoft office software
• Writing emails, letters and memos
• Multi-tasking
• 0-4 years of work experience
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Responsibilities

• Civil design in roadway, grading, drainage, utility and site development projects for both residential and commercial development.
• Assist preparing construction plans, design calculations, specifications, bid documents and cost estimates.
• Learn about relevant design standards and procedures.
