About The Position

Our Civil Engineering Transportation/Public Works Team in our downtown Los Angeles, CA office has an opportunity for a talented Civil Engineering Intern . About being our Civil Engineering Intern - Transportation/Public Works As a Civil Engineering Intern , you will apply your knowledge to assist with a broad range of project assignments and provide support to the project team. With the benefit of in person supervision, you will work on design efforts in conventional aspects of Civil Engineering which may include roadway, drainage, traffic, grading, storm water quality, and site preparation for public entities.

Requirements

  • 2nd, 3rd or 4th year current student with a major in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Candidates from local universities/colleges are preferred.
  • Availability to work in our office 10-20 hours per week
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Some experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work in our office to experience a collaborative team environment
  • Self-starter and self-motivated with an eagerness to learn
