Civil Engineering Intern - Transportation (Summer 2026)

Interns are an integral part of our teams, working to solve some of the world's most complex challenges. Our Atlanta, Georgia structural team is looking for an intern for the Summer of 2026. As an intern, you’ll work alongside our experienced practitioners and with our clients and communities. This hands-on experience will equip you with practical skills, build your network, and provide opportunities that set you up for success.

Requirements

Minimum requirements include some exposure to CAD Design programs and current good academic standing in accredited engineering school.
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelors or Masters Engineering Program, preferably Civil Engineering.
Summer Co-op Interns are expected to work 40hrs/week minimum in the office.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil engineering projects ranging from bridges, roadways, parks, recreational spaces, and transit facilities.
Responsibilities include computer-aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple design calculations, and field inspections.
