About The Position

As a Civil Engineering Intern at Jacobs, you will play a crucial role in transforming ideas into innovative solutions while gaining hands-on experience in civil engineering. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside professional engineers and designers in the Federal & Environmental Solutions (F&ES) business unit, contributing to projects that involve site assessments, utility system designs, and integrated facilities site plans for federal facilities, including those for the US military.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• United States Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Must be at least a rising Junior.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Previous internship related to civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to engineering teams on critical projects.
• Assist in assessing site features and designing utility systems.
• Develop grading plans, stormwater systems, and pavements.
• Create integrated facilities site plans and supporting design documents.
• Collaborate with professional engineers and designers to bring fresh ideas to projects.
