About The Position
WSP USA is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2025, as part of its nationally recognized internship program. This opportunity is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering or related degree program, with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later. The internship will last for 12 weeks, starting on May 29th, 2025, with some flexibility in the start date. Interns will work out of various locations in California, including San Jose, Oakland, Roseville, Rancho Cordova, Fresno, Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, or San Diego. As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will support a variety of engineering tasks aimed at developing your technical, social, and ethical skills. You will learn the basic principles of Civil Engineering and assist with project research, fieldwork, and preliminary design calculations and analysis. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates, as well as collecting and maintaining project documentation. You will complete training on assigned tasks and are expected to exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds and resources, adhering to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside senior staff on real projects.
