Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Civil or Environmental Engineering program at a four-year ABET LOCAL university or college.
  • Preferred targeted graduation date within 1 year; will consider interns graduating within 2 years depending on needs.
  • Able to work part-time, with a minimum of 12 hours and a maximum of 18 hours per week.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Have a laptop with Windows operating system.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Well organized and able to manage work and academic responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Verification of US Citizenship required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college or better in Civil Engineering.
  • Some college or better in Environmental Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineer mentors in the design team and take ownership of portions of various projects.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to learn how a complete design package is developed.
  • Participate in challenging engineering projects.
  • Acquire time management, communication, and CAD drafting skills.
  • Apply engineering concepts to real-world challenges.
