About The Position

AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering III in Orange, CA. Job details: Performing all planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services for projects related to the design of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. Guide planning and design tasks such as preparation of preliminary and final design reports, preparation of hydrology/hydraulic models, performing calculations, developing figures and drawings sets/specifications, assembling permitting packages, and preparing other documents that constitute project deliverables. Responsible for coordination with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of other AECOM discipline teams. Introductory project management tasks including invoice preparation and change management. Assist with proposal preparation, focusing on technical delivery of project scope. Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Hydraulics, hydrology, water storage & conveyance, site civil and water/wastewater treatment subject matter
  • Engineering calculations and design duties
  • Water infrastructure design software: Autodesk Civil3D, Revit, Microstation, and AutoCAD to produce drawings, details and figures
  • Technical specifications on water or wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Engineering services during construction phase services
  • Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain Professional Engineering License within 12 months of entering position; and OSHA 10-hr or HAZWOPER training certification.
