A well-established civil engineering and land development consulting firm is seeking a Civil Engineering Designer / Senior CAD Technician to support a growing project workload in its Maitland, Florida office.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of land development planning and site design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in civil/site design within a consulting environment
• Strong leadership, organization, and project coordination skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving project environment
• Highly task-oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
• Working knowledge of stormwater analysis and design

Responsibilities

• Prepare site civil engineering design and construction drawings for subdivision, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments
• Perform site grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, and roadway design support
• Develop engineering calculations related to: site grading stormwater management systems water distribution wastewater collection roadway geometry and site access
• Translate design concepts into construction-ready drawing packages
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Support and maintain strong client communication and relationship management
• Contribute to project execution within schedules and quality standards
• Gain progressive experience aligned with Professional Engineer licensure (where applicable)
