About The Position

Barge Design Solutions is seeking an Civil Engineering Associate to join our Civil Engineering team. In this role, you will support the planning and design of civil infrastructure projects by assisting senior engineers with technical analysis, design development, and preparation of construction documents. This position offers the opportunity to build your technical foundation, gain hands-on project experience, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality solutions that positively impact the communities we serve.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
• Engineer Intern / Engineer in Training Certification required.
• Working knowledge of Auto Cad, Micro station, and other essential equipment for field and office work.
• Timeliness & Quality of work and budget adherence.
• Utilization rates align with goal.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for project.
• May assist in client contact and communication, and attends client meetings.
• Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, and tests, in order to plan and design projects.
• Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Accompany Engineers to site visits as needed.
• Performs other duties as requested.
