This position is in the District Department of Transportation, (DDOT), Infrastructure Project Management Administration (IPMA) where the incumbent will be assigned to Team 3 Wards 5 & 6. The incumbent manages the design, delivery, and completion of complex transportation, roadway, and bridge projects in Wards 5 & 6. The projects typically require knowledge of civil & structural engineering, physical sciences, mathematics underlying engineering, and specialized knowledge of mechanics of solids particularly of soils, hydraulics, structure, and strength of materials, engineering geology, and surveying. The Incumbent serves as a technical authority and project leader in the coordination and management of multiple professional civil engineering assignments.
