About The Position
Growing full service firm looking to add a talented Civil Engineer to their Virginia Beach, Virginia office!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 5+ years of experience
- PE License preferred
- Experience with the following:
- Navigating through various entitlement approvals
- Preparing site due diligence studies
- Multi-site development design and development programs
- Ability to create site plans following client/code requirements
- Ability to effectively read/understand site construction drawings
- Ability to work on various development projects in different stages simultaneously
- Some travel required
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- PE License preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead design process from project start to construction
- Responsible for project tracking/reporting
- Develop site plans
- Visit potential sites and complete site due diligence reports
- Coordinate tasks with external sub consultant partners and internal design teams
- Lead design approvals
