Your role will include building and managing relationships with in-house teams and contractors while providing design and consulting services that are needed by facility managers and owners. The types of projects that you will work on will include: Office Facilities Educational Facilities Healthcare Facilities Warehouses Manufacturing Facilities Industrial Facilities Municipal Facilities Candidates are required to have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, can learn on the fly, adapt to change, and find solutions to challenges. Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum of a BS in Civil Engineering with 1-4 years of experience in the design of industrial, municipal, and commercial facilities.
Applicants should have a working knowledge of Civil analysis and design software (specifically Civil 3D preferred).

Responsibilities

Listen to our clients’ needs and provide value to them by evaluating options based upon the client’s needs and desires, first cost and life cycle cost.
Communicate your design recommendations to our project team, construction contractors and vendors in presentations, meetings, via email and phone as necessary.
Work alone on projects or work on a project team with other technical staff to design and detail new systems that are needed, assuring that the work is accurate and coordinated, and that the quality assurance measures have been followed.
Provide timely services that meet the needs of the clients and the overall project schedule requirements.
Participate in the pursuit of projects for new and existing clients by meeting with them to discuss the projects, conducting presentations and writing proposals.
Perform Civil design calculations following office standards.
Stay abreast of new design and analysis technologies and building materials through continuing education activities.
