You will oversee multiple IDOT phase I, II or phase III projects across various offices while managing and tracking the project backlog. Manage client relationships, cultivating new business connections, and collaborating with the Business Development Team to identify IDOT PTB items to pursue. Managing current IDOT Phase I and II engineering projects as well as County and Municipal Transportation projects. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain
  • Education: A Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering is preferred)
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience working on IDOT roadway and bridge design projects, and managing/mentoring civil engineering staff
  • Location: Rockford, IL- Hybrid schedule is available
  • Software skills: Microsoft 365, MicroStation/Open Roads and Adobe (AutoCAD Civil 3D beneficial)

Responsibilities
