As the Transportation Project Manager, you will oversee multiple IDOT phase I, II or phase III projects across various offices while managing and tracking the project backlog. You will manage client relationships, cultivate new business connections, and collaborate with the Business Development Team to identify IDOT PTB items to pursue. Additionally, you will manage current IDOT Phase I and II engineering projects as well as County and Municipal Transportation projects, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering is preferred).
• 10+ years of experience working on IDOT roadway and bridge design projects.
• Experience managing and mentoring civil engineering staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, MicroStation/Open Roads, and Adobe (AutoCAD Civil 3D beneficial).
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
