This position will provide engineering direction and guidance to engineering technicians, engineering specialists and other civil engineers. This position provides highly technical guidance and acceptance in all stages of development of the Transportation Management Plan (TMP) for projects in the region. This position will have knowledge of rules and guidelines pertaining to permanent traffic control standards, work zone traffic control and traffic management/mobility requirements. This position will assist with the development, coordination, and PS&E submittal of signing and marking plans and traffic mitigation contracts. and will participate in the Region review of Traffic Impact Analysis for land use Development, which may affect the operation of the STH systems. This position will assist the planning unit in determining the effects of a land development and also type of remediation may be required for that development. This position will be assigned to the I-39/90/94 Interstate Project.
