At Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., our traffic engineers are pivotal in the planning process for every project. Our mission is to improve the quality of life in our communities by creating value through problem-solving and design. As a part of a multi-disciplinary organization, traffic engineers work with several departments to prepare drawings for state department and private clients’ approvals. Individuals in this role need to have a strong knowledge of transportation engineering principles, practices, and standards with experience using traffic analysis software. Operating in both the public and private sectors, the ideal candidate would be aware of all local, state, and federal regulations as they relate to those areas. Depending on availability and level of workload, this position could be full-time or part-time. Pay will be negotiated based on these factors and the experience of the candidate.
