About The Position

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Civil Engineer - Stormwater (PE). The position's functions will be facilitated through project work. The role involves providing technical and thought leadership to Waggoner staff and clients in the stormwater discipline, facilitating staff development, and promoting the growth of this discipline at Waggoner. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• 4 - 10+ years of experience in civil engineering.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Alabama, or ability to gain licensure within 4 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in stormwater management.
• Facilitate staff development in stormwater engineering.
• Assist project managers in developing technical scope of work, budget, and schedule.
• Hire personnel and manage disciplinary actions.
• Perform annual performance reviews of staff.
• Ensure client quality expectations are met.
• Mentor and develop staff in necessary skill sets.
• Identify and develop project opportunities for new work.
• Work with Business Development and Marketing to pursue business.
• Develop marketing and sales plans related to stormwater services.
