Requirements
- 4–10 years of engineering and design experience, preferably in civil or agricultural infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Civil 3D is a plus (training provided).
- Experience or interest in s tormwater modeling and utility layout design.
- Strong t echnical writing skills for reports, documentation, and permit submittals.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Nice To Haves
- Professional licensure (PE) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design detailed plan sets using AutoCAD and Civil 3D , incorporating client feedback and field data.
- Collaborate with internal team members and clients to develop construction-ready and permit-ready documents.
- Facilitate client and contractor meetings to support construction and implementation of design plans.
- Compile record documentation for constructed projects to ensure permit certification compliance.
- Assist with stormwater modeling and technical report writing.
- Participate in field data collection , site grading design, and utility layout (sanitary, storm, and water).
- Support the Reality Capture team by processing drone and 3D laser scan data for integration into project plans.
- Conduct construction inspections and monitor progress in the field.
- Use GPS and robotic total stations to gather data and validate design implementation.
