Requirements

  • 4–10 years of engineering and design experience, preferably in civil or agricultural infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Civil 3D is a plus (training provided).
  • Experience or interest in s tormwater modeling and utility layout design.
  • Strong t echnical writing skills for reports, documentation, and permit submittals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional licensure (PE) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design detailed plan sets using AutoCAD and Civil 3D , incorporating client feedback and field data.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and clients to develop construction-ready and permit-ready documents.
  • Facilitate client and contractor meetings to support construction and implementation of design plans.
  • Compile record documentation for constructed projects to ensure permit certification compliance.
  • Assist with stormwater modeling and technical report writing.
  • Participate in field data collection , site grading design, and utility layout (sanitary, storm, and water).
  • Support the Reality Capture team by processing drone and 3D laser scan data for integration into project plans.
  • Conduct construction inspections and monitor progress in the field.
  • Use GPS and robotic total stations to gather data and validate design implementation.
