In this role, you will have the opportunity to focus on the delivery of civil site development projects and will assist in the design, construction, and project management of a wide variety of projects involving grading design, stormwater design, erosion control design, culvert design, and pavement design, etc. The professional will have hands-on involvement in the permitting process and will have significant interaction with multi-disciplinary internal teams and external clients.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or be in active pursuit of registration.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Licensed PE or ability and interest to obtain PE and/or be in active pursuit of registration
  • Thorough understanding of civil site development (i.e., Site Plans, Permitting, Grading, Storm Water Management, Storm Water Design)
  • Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects with guidance and mentorship

Responsibilities

  • Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set by the project managers based off client needs
  • Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets
  • Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, interface directly with the client or sub-consultants
  • Support business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentation to clients
  • Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines and project team
