About The Position
Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Project Civil Engineer - Site Design to join their Phoenix team!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- 5+ years of related civil engineering experience
- PE License
- Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Prepare planning/design documents in appropriate engineering discipline
- Perform process design calculations, prepare cost estimates, and use economic analyses for comparison of alternatives
- Assist/develop project scope of work, project schedules, completion of initiation paperwork, budget reviews, and schedule progress reports
- Coordinates projects with other Olsson teams including:
- Perform/coordinate design aspects of projects
- Direct team members on design tasks
- Maintains project records (correspondence, drawings, and files)
- Keep project managers updated on progress and problems
- Coordinate with clients
- Attends client meetings
- Assist with marketing/business development including writing proposals
- May serve as project manager on small projects
- Perform individual assignments on complex projects
- Mentor/train junior staff
