About The Position
As a Senior Project Manager specializing in Water/Wastewater, you will play a pivotal role in our multi-disciplined consulting firm that focuses on total community infrastructure solutions. Our firm has a rich history, having been established in 1929 and headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, with twelve regional offices across the Southeastern United States. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in communities through ecologically responsible design principles and effective funding support. In this position, you will be responsible for managing projects related to municipal water and wastewater systems, ensuring that they meet both client expectations and regulatory standards. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding projects from conception through to completion, while also mentoring junior staff and collaborating with various stakeholders. You will be expected to market our services to potential, current, and former clients, thereby expanding our reach and influence in the industry. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, particularly in the design and administration of water and wastewater pipelines and pump stations. You will develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, coordinating closely with subcontractors to ensure that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently. Conducting team design meetings will be a regular part of your responsibilities, where you will inform and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will be tasked with ensuring accurate and timely billings, formulating cost estimates, and coordinating the quality assurance processes in accordance with company policy.
