About The Position

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is a leading power engineering consultant firm that provides engineering, system planning and studies, technical consultation, project management, surveying, environmental planning, commissioning/testing and construction services to electric utilities, energy developers and industrials throughout the U.S. Our experience includes system voltages from 4.16 kV through 765 kV. ECI has an opening for a Civil Engineer Project Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the coordination, management and oversight of civil projects associated with substation and transmission line facilities. Project components include grading design for site development, storm water conveyance and treatment research and design, preparation of Hydrology and other storm water reports dependent on the project locality, storm drain analysis, and access road design (paved and unpaved sections, vehicle maneuvering modeling, haul road analysis, etc.), among other land development requirements. Management responsibilities include scoping, budgeting, scheduling, proposals, monitoring, reporting, quality control and oversight of internal and subcontracted project teams conducting detailed design activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years Project Management experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules

  • Successful candidates may be subject to client mandated drug/alcohol testing and background screening, clean driving record
