We are looking for a dedicated and relationship-driven Natural Gas Project Manager to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. In this role, you’ll lead projects from initial planning through design completion, managing client relationships, project teams, and technical execution. Requirements

  • Registered PE in the states of Washington and/or Oregon
  • 5+ years of experience with the design and construction of natural gas infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of gas pipeline and storage systems, infrastructure projects, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with permitting processes and regulatory compliance, particularly in the gas industry
  • Knowledge of federal testing and safety regulations, state-specific guidelines, and requirements.
  • Knowledge of gas compressor stations, gas storage facilities, and associated infrastructure
  • Experience mentoring civil project engineers and EITs
  • Experience in specification writing and engineering cost estimate preparation
  • Business development experience and/or interest in helping to drive client relationships and new work with existing and new clients

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan, provide design guidance, and manage a variety of natural gas distribution and high-pressure pipeline upgrade projects/natural gas infrastructure projects.
  • Manage permitting process with local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Conduct site inspections, manage construction schedules, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, environmental)
  • Environmental and regulatory compliance
  • Communicate with clients about current projects, identify and position the firm to win future work, and ensure the firm's success.
  • Effectively supervise technical staff to deliver projects.
  • Prepare and manage project scope, budget, schedule, and meet deliverables.
  • Assist with business development efforts to cultivate strong client relationships.
