About The Position

The Senior Civil Engineer will play a crucial role in providing engineering design and leadership for private land development projects within a well-established and growing engineering firm located in Gainesville, Florida. The firm emphasizes a work hard/play hard mentality and is committed to exceeding client expectations through meticulous project planning and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Civil Engineering design and site development.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
• Software experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other applicable engineering design tools.
• P.E. is preferred but a strong E.I.T who can obtain their P.E. within 12 months will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Civil Engineering design skills to prepare design plans, construction documents, reports, and other project-related documents.
• Prepare pressurized system modeling for various water and wastewater projects.
• Conduct roadway and drainage analysis/design.
• Oversee residential, municipal, and commercial site development.
