Requirements

• A Texas-licensed (PE) or PE-candidate Civil Engineer with 3 or more years of experience in land and site development
• Experience in the Civil / Land Development sector with project work like: single-site and municipal-type projects, and the development of construction documents for public sector clients, including cities/counties/water districts, etc.
• Proficient skills with AutoCAD, Civil 3D software, and MicroStation (considered an asset)
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• The ability to work well with team members as well as project stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Work with a Project Manager to assist with the completion of construction documents for site development, water resources, and/or civil projects
• Preparation of construction documents, calculations, and reports for public or private clients
• Be part of the design effort of public infrastructure roads, sidewalks, stormwater, and utility improvements
• Contribute to the design effort of subdivision master plans, grading plans, and utility plans for new developments and redevelopments
• Working with municipalities on necessary permits
• Project management of site development or redevelopment

• The salary range for this position is $60,720 to $91,080 per year. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
